Doormath Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number.
  • Account details: username, password, profile preferences.
  • Payment information: billing details and transaction data for purchases or subscriptions.

1.2 Usage Information

We automatically collect certain technical data when you use our website or app, such as:

  • Device information: device type, operating system, browser.
  • Log data: pages visited, time spent, interactions, IP address.
  • Approximate location: used to personalize property results and market statistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Doormath platform.
  • Create and update your property appraisals and dashboards.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and transactions.
  • Process payments and deliver our services.
  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance the user experience.
  • Ensure platform security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Property Appraisals and User Contributions

Doormath allows users to adjust property characteristics (e.g., number of rooms, size, renovations, luxury level) to obtain personalized appraisals.

The data you submit:

  • does not directly alter public or official property records;
  • is aggregated and anonymized with other user inputs;
  • is used to determine a collective reference value (“ground truth”) and improve market-value models;
  • may contribute to overall real-estate statistics.

Individual contributions are never published or attributed to a specific user. Aggregated data may be used for research, modeling, or market-trend analysis with no possibility of identification.

4. Interaction Between Users and Brokers

Logged-in users may receive invitations from verified real-estate brokers on Doormath.

Before an invitation is accepted, brokers may see your first and last name and limited contextual details (such as your municipality or associated property) to help them send a relevant invitation.

No other personal or activity data (favorites, appraisals, browsing history) is visible until you accept the invitation.

Once an invitation is accepted, specific profile and activity information becomes available so the broker can provide personalized guidance (see Section 5).

You may decline or withdraw consent at any time through your account settings.

Brokers cannot access any additional data and may communicate only through the Doormath platform.

5. Activity Visibility After Association with a Broker

When you accept an association with a verified broker, that broker gains limited access to your activity on Doormath, including:

  • properties you view, claim, or favorite;
  • appraisal adjustments or characteristic changes you submit.

This access enables brokers to provide tailored advice and service. All such data remains strictly confidential, accessible only to your associated broker, and never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

Ending the association immediately revokes the broker’s access rights.

6. Legal Basis and Consent

By creating an account or using Doormath, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.

For optional features (such as broker invitations), Doormath obtains your explicit consent before any data sharing occurs.

You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
